Amphibious Sonar Inspection System
The amphibious Pipe Sonar Inspector system by SANIT is used mainly for the diagnosis and inspection of liquid-filled pipelines (completely full or with a water level above 2/3), covering diameters from 600 to 3,000 mm and lengths of up to 2,000 meters.
It automatically processes and extracts images through an integrated system that combines video inspection, LIDAR and sonar, which immediately provides information about the internal wall profile, enables the creation of a three-dimensional model and allows quantitative analysis of sediments.
Why use sonar for the inspection of liquid-filled pipelines?
The use of sonar technology for the inspection of liquid-filled pipelines offers unmatched accuracy and efficiency, making it an indispensable tool for maintaining the integrity of submerged infrastructure.
SANIT’s advanced Pipe Sonar Inspector pipeline inspection system uses high-frequency sound waves to generate detailed images of liquid-filled pipelines, allowing the detection of anomalies such as cracks, corrosion and blockages with exceptional accuracy.
